A training course on supply chains and information management system Launches

The training course on supply chains, logistics information management system, and effective planning and implementation of supportive supervision was launched today at the Toulos Hotel Hall in the city of Kassala, targeting the supply coordinators in the states of Kassala, Gedaref, Sennar, White Nile, and the River Nile , which was organized by the Department of Communicable Diseases Control at the Federal Health Ministry , and will continue until December 6.

The Acting Director General of the Ministry of Health in Kassala state, Shaa El-Din Hamza, said that health cadres have a great role in strengthening the health system, which calls for more training courses, especially in supply management.

The Director of Communicable Diseases Control at the Federal Health, Dr. Sarah Azhari, in her speech, representing the Director of the General Directorate of Basic Health Care, Dr. Musab Siddique, described the supply of the nerve of the health services provided, which proves the importance of training cadres on how to manage its chain at all stages to reach the beneficiary, which is the citizen.

The Director of the Health System Strengthening and Malaria Control Project, Dr. Iman Awad Al-Jak, stressed the need for training to keep pace with developments in the management of the supply system, especially at the current time due to the impact of the war.

The Director of the Supply Department at the project, Dr. Lubaba Omar Al-Bashir, pointed to the integration of the departments’ efforts and teamwork, noting that the main axis in the provision of services constitutes the backbone of the medical service. Additionally, the provision of treatment is a pivotal element for the integration and effectiveness of medical service.
