A partnership protocol between the National Medical Supplies Fund and Health Insurance

A partnership protocol was signed between the National Fund for Medical Supplies and the National Health Insurance Fund, in the presence of a number of executive leaders from both sides, within the framework of strengthening institutional coordination and supporting efforts aimed at providing medicines and medical supplies to the insured.

The protocol aims to organize joint cooperation mechanisms, ensure the flow and sustainability of the pharmaceutical supply, and achieve the optimal use of available resources in a way that contributes to the stability and improvement of health services, reflecting the commitment of the two institutions to support the national health system and expand the umbrella of health coverage.

Dr. Badreddine Mohamed Ahmed Al-Jazouli, Director General of the National Medical Supplies Fund, stressed in press statements that the signing of this protocol represents an important step towards restoring and activating strategic partnerships between public health sector institutions by enhancing coordination, rationalizing resources, and implementing unified procurement policies for medical products.

He pointed out that this partnership will directly contribute to achieving access to medicines and improving the efficiency of the supply chain, which will reflect positively on the promotion of the treatment services provided to citizens, especially in light of the challenges faced by the health sector during the current stage.
