US Moves Towards Peace in Sudan Begin

The US President’s Senior Advisor for Arab and African Affairs, Massad Boulos, said on Thursday that he has begun working with Secretary of State Marco Rubio to achieve President Trump’s vision for peace and stability in Sudan, enabling the Sudanese people to return to a civilian-led government.

According to Al-Sharq, Boulos added that the United States is committed to ending the conflict in Sudan and working towards a humanitarian truce in cooperation with its partners, in addition to working to end external support for both sides of the conflict.
