Khartoum/The Citizen
The Federal Minister of Health, Prof. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, received a gift from the people of the Jakika area in the River Nile State, expressing their appreciation for his efforts in serving the region.
This honor comes after the minister restarted the main hospital, which had been out of operation for a long time, to become one of the largest emergency and injury hospitals in Sudan, providing health services to citizens across the country.
The hospital played a prominent role during the Battle of Karama, saving many lives. The gift was handed over to the minister by Dr. Emad Abdel Moneim Al-Khair Al-Tayeb, Director of the Hospitals Department at the Federal Ministry of Health and former Director of Al-Jajika Hospital.
