The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Welfare spreads peace and wellness in six states through health insurance

Despite the pain of war and the militia’s violations, the Ministry of Human Resources Development and Social Welfare has continued to provide services to citizens with its white army, steadfastly supporting the armed forces, the joint forces, and all military formations.

The Minister of Human Resources Development and Social Welfare, Mutasem Ahmed Saleh, inaugurated nine model health centers that provide services to more than three million health insurance subscribers, including the states of North Kordofan, White Nile, Sennar, Gezira, Gedarif, and Kassala.

The visit of the Minister and Director General of the National Health Insurance Fund, Dr. Farouk Noor Al-Daem, the Secretary of the Zakat Bureau and the Commissioner of the Poverty Commission, was not limited to the opening of the centers, but also expanded through the 100-day plan adopted by the Government of Hope to run medical convoys for those affected by floods, rains, epidemics, and treatment days for the displaced.

Expanding Services:

In the six states that Saleh visited, 9 model health centers serving more than 3 million subscribers were opened and reopened.

The Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare directed the rehabilitation of the Al-Din Health Center and the Al-Suki Model Center.

Camps and caravans:

Saleh inaugurated (6) treatment camps that provided services to more than (18) thousand beneficiaries of the displaced for free.

The Minister assured on the ground of three medical convoys for those affected by the floods and floods and for the advanced defenses of the War of Dignity.

Kassala countryside:

The 100-day plan adopted a practical program for the extension of services in the countryside and in the state of Kassala

The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development inaugurated the medical convoy for those affected by floods and epidemics in the localities of the North Delta – Aroma and the isolation center in the rural locality of Kassala which covers (220) villages, neighborhoods and large health centers in the villages of Olip, Matateb, Dafin, Tendlai, and Qalsa centers.

The convoys included

Providing (40) items of pediatric medicines, antibiotics and intravenous solutions.

During the visit, the Minister inaugurated (4) integrated laboratories (devices and consumables) targeting (350) thousand people with the aim of strengthening the health system.

Saleh reviewed the reopening of the maintenance phase and the development of the South Swaki Health Center, with the introduction of new services including dentistry and advanced laboratory tests.

Health Support:

The Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare directed to increase the availability to cover more than (300) thousand subscribers.

He visited the Ahmed Turk and Rome centers and praised the work at Ahmed Turk Health Center as a qualitative addition, due to its services, which receive an average of (170) patients daily.

Saleh ordered the maintenance of the old Aroma Health Center and donated an anesthesia machine to the Aroma Rural Hospital, in support of the development of surgical services and caesarean sections.

CT scan:

In the state of Gedaref, the minister inaugurated a high-performance CT scan and imaging machine (270 slices) at the late Dr. Ibrahim Abdel Rahman complex, which receives between (20-40) patients daily, and this device is a qualitative addition that contributes to the localization of the service within the state.

The opening of the operation of the late Abdul Karim Abbouda Health Center (Abayo North) was witnessed following the maintenance and rehabilitation works, as the center has become a must-have for basic care, dental and small operation services, in addition to visitor specialization services and short stays, which will serve the insured in (15) peripheral neighborhoods, neighboring villages and IDP camps.

Within the framework of achieving the integration of health services in rural hospitals, and in coordination with the Ministry of Health and Social Development in the state, various medical and diagnostic devices and equipment were inaugurated, including whole blood test devices and sound waves for pregnant women and reproductive health.

The citizens of the state saw that the minister’s field visit and follow-up is an important step to support and strengthen the health system and enhance the quality and integration of services in the rural hospitals with the service purchased for a service, in a way that contributes to serving the residents of (27) villages.

The launch of the free treatment camp, which provided its services to more than (4700) patients, included all specialties, including surgeries, and (270) surgeries were performed.

Comprehensive Laboratory:

In the state of Gezira, the minister stood on reopening of the Model Al-Shaheed (1) Health Center in the University Neighborhood of the Greater Madani Locality, which represents a model of the quality and integration of medical services, the center provides medical consultations through general practitioners and consultants, in addition to unprecedented specialized laboratory services, medical imaging services including sound waves and digital radiation, and a comprehensive pharmacy, all of which provide these cheeks.

The center provides service to more than 300 villages and neighborhoods in the state of Gezira, and is a shining model for the second level of health services for those referred from other outlets or those who visit the center directly.

The center was widely accepted by the citizens of the island and described it as a practical proof that confirms the commitment of the Government of Hope to achieve justice, sustainability, transparency and achieving acceptable quality for citizens.

Specialist Clinics:

In White Nile State the Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare inaugurated the specialists’ clinics at the Kosti Model Center, in addition to the Sick Tissue Laboratory in the White Sea Complex, in a qualitative step to enhance the advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services in the state, and these additions contributed to enabling the citizens of White Nile State, Blue Nile Region, and the states of (North Kordofan, Sennar, and Gezira) to obtain these services without the need to travel to the city of Merowe or Atbara, by localizing these services, thanks to the localization of advanced services including diagnostic radiology, color sound waves, and operations Precision surgery, especially orthopedics.

Saleh inaugurated the free health insurance treatment camp for IDPs in Quz Al Salam Camp for the Vulnerable and the War-Affected Persons, which includes more than (12600) individuals, for three treatment days, during which services are provided (general doctor, family medicine specialist, gynecologist and obstetrician, pediatrician, labor and pharmacy) and surgeries are performed by referring to contracted hospitals free of charge, and the camp also included services (primary health care, nutrition, immunization, follow-up of pregnant women, and health awareness).

Fixed Clinics:

The Minister directed the establishment of a permanent clinic in the camp to ensure the continuity of services.

The magnetic resonance imaging center at the Kosti Medical Weapon Hospital supported the completion of its inauguration with the remaining amount of (100) million.

Package Integration:

In Sennar, the minister witnessed the launch of a free treatment day at Jebel Moye Hospital, with the provision of an integrated package of services (doctors, specialists, laboratory, medicine, and sound waves). (3,242) beneficiaries benefited from it,

Implementing a campaign to renew the medical card in the region.

He directed that (68) families of the martyrs in the Jebel Muyeh area be covered by health insurance with funding partners.

Saleh inaugurated the Martyr Awadallah Health Center in Sannar after his rehabilitation.
