The Federal Chamber of Diphtheria Vaccination Campaign reveals the coverage on the first day

The Federal Chamber of Diphtheria Vaccination Campaign held its second meeting on Sunday at the General Administration of Basic Health Care Hall in the city of Kassala, reviewing the reports from the liaison officers on the progress of the campaigns on the first day, which was yesterday, Saturday, in the six targeted States.

The meeting revealed the initial coverage, with (101,635) people vaccinated in the Nile River, out of a target of (740,359) people. In Kassala state, (94,798) people were vaccinated, out of a total target of (480,311) people. In Khartoum State , (43,586) people were vaccinated from a target of (390,469) people, while in the northern state, (47,679) people were vaccinated from a total of (281,583) people. In Blue Nile, (28,086) people were vaccinated from a target of (150,655) people, and in the Red Sea State, (2,314) people were vaccinated from a total of (37,899) people.

The meeting also included the presentation of theplans and observations of the federal supervisors to the teams and home visits, the observations of the state and local chambers, the supply, in addition to various activities to promote health, the monitoring of cases and side effects, as well as coverages.
