Targeting the primary health care departments and programs in the states, a training course on the series of planning results and indicators convenes

The Planning, Follow-up, and Evaluation Department at the General Directorate of Basic Health Care at the Federal Ministry of Health carried out, today, in Kassala State, the Sphere Training Course for care departments and programs on the series of planning results and evaluation indicators. This course came under the slogan “Strong Follow-up and Evaluation Capabilities: Ensuring Evaluation on Insight and Confident Steps Towards Achieving the Goals” and will continue until November 15 for the first group.

The Director of the General Directorate of Basic Health Care, Dr. Musab Siddique, confirmed at the opening of the course that it came at the right time, coinciding with the start of the development of the 2026 plan and the reconstruction plan, noting the importance of developing plans based on evidence.

The Acting Director of the Planning, Follow-up, and Evaluation Department, Ms. Tayseer Al-Sadiq, stated that the general objective of the course is to enhance the capacities of workers in the basic health care departments and programs in the states in the field of formulating good and sound evaluation results and indicators for the series of planning outcomes.

Dr. Tariq Abdullah, the national expert, described the federal and state primary health care administration as distinctive, which has been accomplished despite the conditions of war, pointing to successful models in the states. He emphasized that the federal government should benefit from these models within the framework of transferring experiences and expertise.
