SFPA continues its humanitarian services in IDPs camps across the country, even amidst ongoing bombardments

Dr. Jaafar Suleiman, the acting Executive Director of Sudan Family Planning Association(SFPA), affirmed that the association continues its services in displacement camps in Darfur and Sudanese cities.

He made this statement during a meeting with Dr. Magda Abdullah, Minister of Health in River Nile State, and Dr. Salah Al-Daak, representing the Qatar Red Crescent Society’s Sudan office, as part of the launch of the Dignity Kits initiative at the River Nile branch.

He added that receiving the prestigious Courage Award from the International Planned Parenthood Federation is not merely an award, but a global recognition of the association’s dedication to serving the goals and principles of family planning, overcoming challenges, and serving as a beacon for defending human rights and preserving human dignity in society. Dr. Salah Al-Daak, Director of the Qatar Red Crescent Society’s Sudan office, confirmed their support for reproductive health services in all branches of the association in Sudan, emphasizing that the distribution of the Dignity Kits at the River Nile branch contributes to reducing mortality rates.
