More than 20 mercenaries desert the militia with all their weapons

According to reliable source, approximately 20 mercenaries who were fighting with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia have deserted and returned to the desert in a neighboring country, fully armed.

The source added that the reason for their departure was the racism they faced within the militia and the pressure exerted by their local administrations, who urged them to return home and cease participating in the Sudanese war.

The source stated that he contacted several of them, who explained that they still don’t understand the benefit of fighting alongside the RSF militia. They also informed him that others are on their way to leave.

The source, who holds a leadership position in one of the opposition movements in a neighboring country, stated that a number of young men who had been working as mercenaries had posted videos in which they publicly announced their defection from the Rapid Support Forces militia.
