Launch of Integrated Nutrition Campaign in Tawila, North Darfur

The Dabba Naira PHC of the Sudanese American Physicians Association (SAPA) launched the integrated nutrition campaign in partnership with UNICEF and a number of health and nutrition partners to cover Tawila locality and neighboring areas.

The campaign aims to provide nutritional support to children under the age of five and pregnant and lactating women through the distribution of vitamins, early detection of malnutrition cases, and referral of critical cases to specialized referral centers.

SAPA has deployed 40 health workers and its full logistical capacity to ensure these essential services reach every child and mother in need.

SAPA also praised the partnership with UNICEF and all partners supporting these noble efforts.
