Khartoum Health Ministry Discusses Plan to Restart Specialized Heart Centers

The Director General of the Ministry of Health in Khartoum State and the Minister in Charge, Dr. Fateh Al-Rahman Mohamed Al-Amin, held a coordination meeting with the Director of Specialized Heart Centers, Dr. Salah Al-Basha, in the presence of the Director of the Hospitals Department, Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Al-Sheikh, the Director General of Ahmed Qasim Heart Hospital, Dr. Huda Hamed, and the Director of Al-Shaab Hospital, Dr. Othman Ismail.

The meeting discussed the latest developments related to the restart of specialized cardiology centers at Al-Shaab Teaching Hospital and Ahmed Qasim Hospital, where Dr. Salah Al-Basha provided a detailed briefing on the plan to restart services. He stressed that work is moving steadily towards preparing hospitals to gradually resume the provision of cardiac services, noting that the coming period will witness tangible results at the state level.

For his part, the Director General of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Fateh Al-Rahman Mohammed Al-Amin, reiterated the Ministry’s full support for the efforts to restart heart centers, stressing that administrative and moral support represents a key pillar in developing performance and improving the quality of health services, especially in specialized hospitals.
