Jibril Ibrahim: No Negotiation or Coexistence with the RSF Militia

The head of the Justice and Equality Movement, Jibril Ibrahim, stated that the crimes committed by the militia in Sudan are stories to be told for history and future generations, given their brutality. He categorically ruled out any negotiations with them.

Speaking at a women’s rally in Port Sudan on Thursday in support of women in Darfur, he pointed to the Rapid Support Forces militia’s approach and the support it receives from several countries, including the UAE, which the militia is implementing against Sudan and its people. He emphasized that the world is dealing with these crimes with double standards.

Jibril added, “We will not hand Sudan over to anyone, and no one can dictate to us the system of government in our country. We are free to determine the form of government.”

He vowed to liberate “every inch of Sudanese land defiled by the militia” and its supporters, and to continue the struggle. He added, “We still hold the initiative.”

He called for unity to defeat the militia, saying, “We are determined to liberate our land from agents and traitors.”

Jibril stated that the militia is only skilled in the deliberate killing of civilians, adding, “We have not and will not negotiate with them, nor will we coexist with them, because they are murderers who violate all international norms, and no one accepts this militia.”

He continued, “It is more honorable for us to die than to coexist with those who commit murder against women, men, children, and the sick. All kinds of violations have been committed against the citizens of El Fasher, and what happened there is unprecedented.”
