Health Day in Al-Nahda neighborhood of Atbara locality launched

In the presence and with the honor of Engineer Mohamed Kortila Saleh, Minister of Federal Governance and Rural Development, and Dr. Abdul Majid Haroun, Governor of River Nile State, representatives of the State Minister of Health, representatives of organizations, and a large gathering of citizens displaced from North Darfur, specifically from El Fasher, in the Al-Nahda neighborhood of Atbara locality, the health and treatment day was launched and inaugurated.
This initiative was supervised by the River Nile State Ministry of Health, the General Directorate of Primary Health Care, the Maternal and Child Health Department, and the Reproductive Health Department, in cooperation with the Sudan Family Planning Association, River Nile State Branch, and with support from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The mobile clinic program took place on Thursday at the Safe Spaces Center in the Al-Nahda neighborhood of Atbara locality, a shelter for those displaced by the war.
The clinic provided general medical services, laboratory services, pharmacy services, nutrition and immunization services, reproductive health services, and prenatal care.
