Darfur Regional Government delegation visits the IDPs camp in Ad-Dabbah

Darfur Regional Government delegation, represented by Political Advisor Dr. Abdulwahab Himmat and member of the delegation,

Mr. Murtada Omar, conducted an inspection visit to the displaced persons camp. The visit included meetings with several organizations present and a number of displaced persons. The delegation began with the Deputy Executive Director, who had been provided with a tent within the camp. He welcomed the delegation and stated that administrative work requires the concerted efforts of everyone in a formal and organized manner.

During the tour, the delegation visited the Child Development Organization, which operates in cooperation with the General Secretariat for Social Affairs and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), with funding from the European Union. They met with Mr. Huzaifa Othman, who said that they conduct activities for children, including arts, sports, and crafts, targeting children aged 3 to 17 years old, who are divided into age groups.

The daily attendance ranges between 70 and 80 children. Currently, the camp is being supervised by Huzaifa Othman, Mahasin Mohammedin, Imran Mohammed, and Maha Yousef.

He added that their work will expand as they intend to target all the children in the camp.
