Board of Directors Meeting of the Health Services Additional Service Package Convenes

The Board of Directors of the Additional Health Services Package held its meeting today at the Cabinet Hall in Port Sudan, with the participation of the Undersecretary of the Federal Ministry of Health, Dr. Ali Babiker Sayed Ahmed, along with members from the relevant authorities, and his participation, which took place from Khartoum State.

The Undersecretary of Health said that the meeting discussed the minutes of the previous session, the performance report of the additional package for the year 2025, in addition to the regulation of the private sector, the regulation of treatment abroad, and smartphone applications. He stressed the commitment of the Ministry of Finance towards the Fund, which contributed to the stability of the service, wishing victory to the armed forces across the country, saying: “We will return to the way we were, and better.”

The purpose of the meeting was to formulate policies that are in the interest of the institution, develop health services, expand the scope of service provision, and discuss the additional package.
