Babanusa: Army Regains Control as Clashes End with Militia’s Collapse

The Sudanese Army’s 22nd Infantry Division announced a major victory in the city of Babanusa, West Kordofan State, after successfully repelling a large-scale, coordinated attack launched by the Rapid Support Forces militia from three different axes.

The 22nd Division Crushes the Attack and Recaptures Former Positions

Field reports confirmed that the 22nd Infantry Division inflicted heavy losses on the militia in terms of lives and equipment, leading to the collapse of the attack. Most importantly, the army managed to recapture all its former positions in the vicinity of the city that had fallen previously.
