Armed Forces Liberate Three Major Cities in Kordofan Region

The Sudanese Armed Forces have made significant progress in the Kordofan region, with sources announcing their control over three major cities, confirming the restoration of security and stability in these areas.

The forces regained full control of the city of Bara after targeted military operations that ended the rebel presence there. In the same context, the forces managed to crush al-Hilu’s militia in the Borno area west of Kadugli, leading to the dismantling of their lines and the collapse of their resistance.

Meanwhile, the Sudan Shield Forces launched a sweeping morning attack on the Umm Sayala area, culminating in complete control of the area and the enemy fleeing, abandoning their equipment.

The military leadership confirmed that these victories are part of a comprehensive plan to secure the Kordofan region and cleanse it of armed threats, stressing that operations will continue until full stability is achieved.
