Al-Eisir: Sudan Will Remain Resilient Despite All Challenges

Minister of Culture, Information, and Tourism, Khalid Al-Aisir, affirmed that mobilization and popular resistance are not new phenomena, but rather a consistent approach to confronting major challenges that threaten the lives of people anywhere in the world.

Addressing the 40th Enlightenment Forum of the Sudan News Agency, which hosted the National Committee for Mobilization and Popular Resistance, chaired by Lieutenant General Bashir Makki Al-Bahi, Al-Eisir stated that the ongoing war in Sudan is not an internal conflict, as some claim, but rather an aggression and invasion targeting the Sudanese people.

The Minister questioned the relationship between countries such as Colombia, some neighboring countries, and sub-Saharan African nations and Sudan’s political, sovereign, and economic decisions, indicating that the interference of these parties confirms the nature of the external aggression against the country.

Al-Eisir called on all those who wish to defend the Sudanese people to join the ranks of the popular resistance and the armed forces in confronting the foreign invasion, affirming that Sudan will remain steadfast despite all challenges.

He added that the country is facing a critical stage that requires national unity, cooperation between military and civilian forces, and the mobilization of all state resources to confront the aggression.

The Minister offered the government’s condolences to the families of the martyrs in El Fasher and Bara, praising the countries and peoples who supported Sudan in its defense of its land, and commending the role of local and international media in supporting the Sudanese cause.
