Al-Burhan Visits Displaced Persons from El Fasher in Ad-Dabba

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, conducted a field visit today to shelters for displaced persons from El Fasher in Ad-Dabba, Northern State. He inspected the level of services provided to the displaced, noting the spirit of social solidarity prevalent in Sudanese society. He emphasized the state’s commitment to addressing the issues of displaced persons and enabling them to live with dignity, stating that the government places the issue of displaced persons at the top of its priorities.
Head of the Sovereignty Council directed all relevant government agencies concerned with social affairs to provide essential services to the displaced and to work to remove all obstacles hindering their ability to lead normal lives. He also referred to the suffering they endured and the violations they suffered at the hands of the terrorist militia in El Fasher.
