Al-Burhan: Dignity is the People’s Battle, and We Are Confident Our People Will Prevail

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, saluted the “fighting forces in every part of the country.”

He affirmed that “the war for dignity is the battle of the Sudanese people, and we are confident that this people will not be defeated, and will soon triumph over this militia and its supporters from colonial powers.”

This came during his meeting yesterday (Wednesday) with the “Mobile Command,” which oversees the management of the theater of military operations, according to the official spokesperson for the Armed Forces on Facebook.

Al-Burhan announced that the Armed Forces will avenge their martyrs and “all those who were brutalized by the militia owned by the Dagalo family in El Fasher, El Geneina, El Gezira, and every place they have defiled.”

Al-Burhan reiterated his greetings to the Sudanese people and wished mercy and acceptance for the martyrs, a speedy recovery for the wounded, and a safe return for the missing.
