A major scandal involving the Rapid Support Forces (RSF)… trending now

The Emergency Committee in Dar Hamar announced new violations attributed to the Rapid Support Forces militia, led by one of its field commanders nicknamed “Al-Savanna,” in the rural areas of Bakhit family in West Kordofan State.

The committee explained in a statement that members of the militia slaughtered large numbers of citizens’ livestock and fed them to their soldiers without compensating the owners, in what the committee considered a blatant violation of civilians’ rights and property.

The committee emphasized that the recurrence of these practices reflects the continued state of chaos and insecurity in the areas where the RSF is active, demanding that the relevant authorities intervene urgently to protect citizens and stop the abuses of field commanders in the region.

The statement added that residents are living in a state of anxiety and apprehension following the escalation of looting and attacks, calling on human rights organizations to document these violations and refer them to the relevant judicial authorities to hold those involved accountable.
