The Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare Announces the Continuation of Free Medical Camps in North Kordofan

The Federal Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare, Mutasem Ahmed Saleh Adam, announced the continuation of the free medical camps in the city of Um Rawaba and the Khor Taqat area for an additional three days due to the great demand by citizens, stressing the provision of free treatment and medicine services. He explained that this step comes within the tasks of the government of hope aimed at restoring normal life in the entire liberated territories after the expulsion of the rebel militia.

During his visit to North Kordofan state, the minister confirmed that large sums of money in kind will be delivered in cash to the beneficiaries, in addition to distributing 13,000 mobile phones of corn and millet in support of families.

The Minister visited Um Rawaba and inspected the health insurance treatment camp as part of the 100-day plan, where he cut the ribbon for the opening of the health center after its rehabilitation, next to the opening of the Al-Rahad Health Center, and inspected the treatment camp in the Khor Taqat area.

The Acting Governor of North Kordofan, Dr. Al-Amin Shayeb Mohamed, along with the Secretary General of the Government, explained that the visit reflects the return of life to normal following the expansion of the security circle and the significant federal movement towards the state. He pointed out that his government opened the Bara Health Center after its rehabilitation, following the liberation of the area from the militia, which paves the way for the return of citizens.

The Minister also held an extensive meeting with the Government of North Kordofan State, during which he listened to the humanitarian and service conditions, the progress of the work of the relevant institutions, the performance report of the social development sector, and discussed areas for enhancing joint efforts to ensure continuity and expansion of services for the benefit of citizens.
