The Federal Minister of Health addresses the opening session of the National Council for Medical and Health Professions Forum

Under the title of supporting the restoration of health care infrastructure in Sudan, the Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, addressed this morning the opening session of the Sudanese National Council for Medical and Health Professions Forum via the Council’s electronic platform.

The forum comes under the theme “Consolidating the Principles of Safe Professional Practice and Ensuring the Safety of Patients,” where the Minister presented a working paper on reconstruction in the health sector and supporting capacity-building activities during the next phase.

The presentation included a focus on the rehabilitation of health institutions and facilities ، in addition to building the capacities of “White Army” cadres and ensuring their professional rehabilitation And the required national role in the next stage.

The Secretary-General of the Council of Medical and Health Professions, Dr. Zaki, also addressed the session, expressing his happiness with the partnership with the Federal Ministry of Health and the great role played by the Ministry in supporting health cadres and frameworks.

The Minister of Health referred to the important national role played by the medical cadres during the Battle of Dignity, stressing their continued active contribution to the reconstruction and construction processes for the elevation of our country, Sudan.
