Governor of West Darfur: The Government Will Support Religious Scholars

The Deputy Governor of the Darfur Region and Governor of West Darfur, Bahr al-Din Adam, called on the men who continue to uphold values, spread peace and justice, and provide psychological support to the residents of the camps. Addressing a meeting with religious scholars, he celebrated the clerics’ patience and steadfastness, stating that they had not sold their consciences to militias or any outside parties. Karama described religious scholars as leaders of conscience and sources of strength and hope in times of hardship, stressing that the government will support religious scholars in their development efforts.
