The Federal Emergency Operations Center reviews the health situation and the interventions

The Federal Emergency Operations Center, at the headquarters of the Federal Ministry of Health in Khartoum, reviewed the health situation in the country during week (39) and the activities and interventions from the various departments.

The Surveillance and Information Report confirmed the registration of (951) cholera infections, including (34) deaths, from (15) states. Five states are considered the highest in registration, including South Kordofan (22.2%), North Kordofan (20.2%), South Darfur (15.1%), and Blue Nile (15%). North Darfur (10.3%) announced (3676) dengue cases from (7) states, with Khartoum state representing the highest rate of (80%), followed by Gezira with (11.8%). Hepatitis infections totaled (59), including (5) deaths, all in Gezira state.

The response report pointed to zero cholera cases in isolation centers in some states, while there

is an increase in some of them, noting that Khartoum is still registering cases of dengue fever.

The Health Promotion Department pointed to the initiative of the Federal Minister of Health (by drying the fever stops), on Saturday and Tuesday of every week, with the large participation of volunteers, and explained that other activities in a number of states, included home visits, lectures, and community interventions.

The autumn report indicated that one state (Khartoum) was affected by the separation on October 4, including one locality, and (12) families and (60) individuals were affected. He pointed to the interventions from a number of states to confront floods and rains, and noted the obstacles and a number of recommendations.
