The delegation of the Women National Group meets with a member of the Sovereignty Council

A delegation from the Women National Group (WNG), headed by Dr. Suhair Ahmed Salah, Executive Director of the WNG, met with Dr. Salma Abdul-Jabbar Al-Mubarak, a member of the Sovereignty Council, where the two sides discussed the challenges facing women in Sudan and ways to enhance opportunities for economic and social empowerment.

Dr. Suhair reviewed the programs and projects implemented by the group, including the school bag project, rural development initiatives, the role of businesswomen in the renaissance of Sudan, as well as women’s economic empowerment projects.

For her part, Dr. Salma praised the group’s efforts and national initiatives and put forward a number of ideas and proposals to support its activities, stressing the importance of developing educational curricula in a way that contributes to raising conscious national generations that contribute to building Sudan.
