Sudan Participates in Major Naval Exercises

Sudan participated in a major regional naval exercise, “Bahari Salama,” in Djibouti.

The exercise was attended by Defense Minister Lieutenant General Daoud Kabron and Commander of the Naval Forces Lieutenant General Mahjoub Bushra, along with representatives from ten African countries and the US and Chinese navies. The exercises aimed to enhance maritime security, combat piracy and illegal fishing, and exchange expertise to confront maritime threats, as part of strengthening military cooperation among East African countries.
