President of the Muslim World League Arrives in Sudan

Sheikh Mohammed Abdul Karim Al-Issa, President of the Muslim World League, arrived in Sudan today, accompanied by a high-level delegation, for a several-day visit.

He was received at Port Sudan International Airport by Minister of Culture, Information, and Tourism Khalid Al-Eiser; Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments Bashir Haroun; Governor of Red Sea State Lieutenant General Mustafa Mohamed Nour; and a number of state leaders.

The Muslim World League is one of the global Islamic institutions and an independent international organization with members from all countries and Islamic sects. Its headquarters is in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. It is dedicated to clarifying the truth of Islam and promoting friendship among peoples. It was established pursuant to a resolution issued by the General Islamic Conference held in Makkah a on the 14th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1381 AH. Corresponding to May 18, 1962
