Army Shoots Down Militia Drone in Khartoum
MAt dawn on Thursday, the Sudanese army’s anti-aircraft defenses successfully neutralized a drone that targeted Khartoum State, in a new attempt by the rebel militia to disrupt civilian life in the capital.
This is the third consecutive attack by the militia, which aims to destabilize and terrorize civilians. However, intensive security measures succeeded in thwarting their attempts without any casualties.
These incidents come as Khartoum International Airport resumed its first flights yesterday via Badr Airlines after a nearly three-year hiatus, indicating the continuation of civilian life despite security threats.
