Al-Burhan Offers Condolences for the Late Dr. Mohamed Tahir Ayala

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, offered his condolences this evening for the late Dr. Mohamed Tahir Ayala, former Prime Minister of Sudan, who passed away in Cairo after a career full of giving and dedication in the service of Sudan.

Al-Burhan said, “Today, the country has lost a loyal patriot and a symbol of national, political, and community work in the country.” He added, “We are proud of him as a Sudanese patriot who gave so much to his country and his people in eastern Sudan.”

His Excellency added, “We offer our sincere condolences and sympathy to the Sudanese people, the leaders and community leaders in eastern Sudan, and to his family, asking God Almighty to have mercy on him and grant him a place in heaven, and to inspire his family and loved ones with patience and solace.”
