The one who sows the field early in the morning, your life will be green forever

🖊️ Khalaf Allah Alobaid Hussein

(The one who sows the field early in the morning, your life will be green forever) are hymns we used to sing in elementary school, expressing the sanctity of the farmer’s work and how he turned the earth into a notebook in which he writes and records life’s stories, and from the drops of his sweat he waters the crops and hopes.
The farmer is not just a person who tills the land, but rather its vibrant spirit and the secret of its inexhaustible giving.
Every dawn, he emerges with confident steps, conversing with the soil and communing with the seeds, as if signing a new contract with life. He casts his seeds into the earth and waits with sincerity and contentment for what God will bring him of bounties, so that the fields will become golden ears, and the people around him will feed off the fruits of his patience and toil.
O farmer, to you, from us, all our love, mixed with a salute of reverence and respect. May God make you a hand that feeds, a shade that protects, and a support that does not break. You are a soldier. In a different field, you carry your plow, water, and struggle in silence no less glorious than any struggle. You are the pillar of stability and the origin of civilization. O farmer, how green your giving is! We see you when the fields flourish, and we feel you when the tables are spread out. We know that behind every morsel is your sincere effort and your honorable, noble toil. So, fragrant greetings to you, as the seasons have passed, and gratitude to you, as long as there is cultivation on the earth and as long as there are clouds in the sky. O farmers across my country, be as you have always been, despite the circumstances and obstacles. Be the pulse of the land and the guardians of goodness, for with you, homelands blossom and dreams become green. May God protect Sudan and its noble, generous, and honorable people.
