The Minister of Human Resources and Director of the NHIF inaugurate the reopening of Al Shaheed Al-Zubair Health Insurance Center (1) in Madani

The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Dr. Mutassim Ahmed Mohamed Saleh, praised the health services provided at Al Shaheed Al-Zubair Health Insurance Center (1) in Madani. He confirmed the reopening of the center this morning, stating that the island has overcome difficulties and restored the health system in a way that exceeded expectations, thanks to the tight coordination and unification of visions between the state government, the Insurance Department, and the security agencies.
He stressed that the center is a real addition to the health sector, which serves more than 300 villages in the state and some neighboring states. He revealed their endeavor to implement the 100-day plan of the government of hope to improve people’s pensions and upgrade and develop services, and directed the National HealthInsurance Fund to expand the establishment of specialized centers to serve citizens.
Director General of the National Health Insurance Fund, Dr. Farouk Noor Al-Daem, confirmed that Al Shaheed Center is one of the largest model specialized centers and revealed the presence of 198 outlets to provide health insurance services in the state, announcing that their plan targets at least 80% and every citizen in the state has a health insurance card.
The Minister had met with the Governor of Gezira State in his office and expressed his thanks to the state government and its security committee for normalizing life, providing services, establishing security, and achieving stability in the state in a short period of time. He pointed to the great losses caused by the terrorist militia in the state, which resulted in the destruction of infrastructure, institutions, and government bodies.
Meanwhile, the Director of Health Insurance in Gezira revealed the restoration of services in 193 health institutions and facilities, stressing that “the services in direct facilities are completed in 11 direct facilities and the provision of additional package services in 12 facilities in various localities.”
