Sovereignty Council Mourns Victims of Jebel Marra Landslide

Head and members of the Sovereignty Council mourn with deep sorrow the victims of the Jebel Marra landslide, which claimed the lives of hundreds of innocent civilians due to heavy rainfall in the region.

Head and members of the Council extend their sincere condolences to the families of the victims and to the Sudanese people, praying to God to accept the martyrs and grant the wounded a speedy recovery.

The Sovereignty Council affirmed that all possible resources will be utilized to provide support and relief to those affected by this painful disaster. “To God we belong and to Him we shall return.”
