SAF and Supporting Forces Announce Victory (245) in El Fasher Yesterday

The Sudanese Armed Forces, the Joint Forces, and the Supporting Forces repelled an attack launched by the terrorist Rapid Support Militia on the city of El Fasher yesterday (Thursday) from two axes, using infantry and combat vehicles, and accompanied by a group of media personnel for filming.
A report by war correspondent Asia Khalifa, published on the official page of the Armed Forces Spokesperson, described this as a new victory numbered (245), referring to the number of attempted attacks launched by the terrorist militia on El Fasher since its siege in May of last year.
The report stated that yesterday’s battle “launched at 4:00 PM, with artillery shelling, combat drones, and suicide bombers, and then turned into a holocaust for the militia.
When your forces responded violently, they inflicted heavy losses in lives and equipment, killing hundreds of them, including some of the attack leaders. Several of their combat vehicles, were destroyed, along with a tractor carrying more than 200 personnel. Two tanks were also destroyed, while their remaining remnants fled the city, dragging their feet in defeat.”
Correspondent Asia Khalifa’s report added that the steadfast female fighters of El Fasher made a heroic presence, packing up their ammunition and accompanying their brothers to the battlefield. They dealt with the situation steadfastly, boosting morale with ululations, and returned laden with the good news of victory. We salute and appreciate them.
The report concluded that the situation in El Fasher is stable and that the morale of the forces “is sky-high, rejoicing in the resounding victories achieved in El Fasher and the Kordofan fronts.”
