Minnawi: One picture from the battlefield is enough to revive every dead conscience

Darfur Governor, Minni Arko Minnawi, Governor, wrote on his Facebook page:

“One picture from the battlefield is enough to revive every dead conscience. It embodies the great sacrifices made by the heroes of our armed forces and the popular and joint resistance for the sake of Sudan’s pride and dignity.

The blood and lives these men sacrifice require us to hold them accountable and extend to them the highest levels of respect and appreciation. It is our fundamental duty to pay special attention to our wounded heroes and to provide good care for the families of our martyrs, for they are the architects of victory and the guardians of our people’s dignity.
