Minister of Higher Education praises the government of River Nile State

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Ahmed Mudawi Moussa, and his accompanying delegation paid a visit to the River Nile State to honor the conclusion of the activities of the first Al-Karama Festival for Student Creativity, which was hosted by the River Nile State with the participation of higher education institutions from the North, the Red Sea, the Blue Nile, Kassala, and Gedaref, in support of the armed forces in the battle of dignity, in order to consolidate the values of national unity among university students.

The Secretary General of the National Fund for Student Welfare, Dr. Ahmed Hamza, and a number of leaders accompanied him. Prof. Ahmed Mudawi conveyed the greetings and thanks of the Prime Minister, Dr. Kamel Idris, to the government and people of the River Nile State for hosting the conclusion of the festival, stressing that it embodied the great value of extracurricular activities in refining the skills of the youth and developing their creative abilities.

Praising the growing interest of the Government of the River Nile State in education and raising the slogan “Education is not waiting,” describing it as the beating heart of the educational process, I praised the great role of the National Fund for Student Welfare, led by Dr. Ahmed Hamza, in preparing dormitories and caring for students. It has contributed to the creation of an environment of harmony and the rejection of the discourse of violence, regionalism, and hatred.

Dr. Mohamed El-Badawi Abdel Majed, Governor of the River Nile State, praised the students’ creativity, which was manifested in artistic paintings and various activities that carried strong messages, most notably supporting the armed forces and emphasizing the unity and cohesion of Sudan.
