In light of the circumstances that the country is going through, the Khatwa Humanity Organization seeks to provide all the health services it can to the people of the region. Today, Saturday, September 20, 2025, in the Al-Shaqla area, the 30th station, the second charity day for the detection and treatment of vision was held in cooperation with the Senussi Optometry Center at Aris Medical Center.

The eye camp included detection and treatment of vision, with the provision of all types of medical lenses, frames, and reading glasses, with a reduction in the price of glasses by 50%.

An estimated number of people from the area came today for the examination, especially those who missed the first camp. After the examination of most of the attendees, they were transferred to Makkah Eye Hospital and Al-Drushab Specialized Hospital because their cases required cataract operations, while others needed more accurate examinations.

It is worth mentioning that the Secretariat of Health presented an awareness program on dengue fever during the camp, focusing on how to prevent it, control vector mosquitoes, dry ponds, and combat the water phase.

Dr. Azza Farouk, Director of the Center, expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the response of the local community in attending and participating. She also conveyed her willingness to cooperate with the organization to establish additional treatment days in Hajj Youssef.

For her part, Panda John, President of the Organization , emphasized the importance of such eye camps for the most vulnerable groups, as they contribute to reducing the spread of eye diseases, improving the quality of life for beneficiaries, and alleviating the financial burden on poor and needy families.
