Resumption of Operations at the Public Services Complex in Omdurman

Public Services Complex in Omdurman resumed operations today in the presence of Lieutenant General (Police) Babiker Samra, Minister of Interior, accompanied by the Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza.
The refurbishment was also attended by Lieutenant General (Police) Amir Abdel Moneim, Director of Khartoum State Police, Director General of the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Tourism, Al-Tayeb Saad Eddin, and police departments from the Ministry of Interior, the Police Headquarters, and the Khartoum State Police.

Lieutenant General Samra, Minister of Interior, confirmed the completion of all maintenance work at the headquarters and technical equipment, as well as the introduction of networks and specialized personnel. He announced the complex’s readiness to provide services to Omdurman citizens, including civil registry services, passports, traffic records, and traffic certificates, as well as vehicle licensing and driver’s licenses.
He confirmed that citizens would be received starting today, urging them to visit the complex now that all services are available, which will return to better than before.
He praised the efforts of the staff and their continuous efforts to reach this important stage.

The Governor of Khartoum praised the Minister of Interior for the efforts made to serve the public during the short period and as the first minister of the Government of Hope to start his work from Khartoum in the ministry and start moving to restore police services. He also praised the Sudanese police in restoring its services that began with the civil registry in Karari and opening departments after Khartoum was declared free of rebellion and continued until we reached the restoration of work and resumption of work with new technology and arrangement.
He said this inauguration is a new start for work and for all public services.
He said work will continue in the rest of the public services in Khartoum, Khartoum North and Omdurman.
