Penang hosts the 52nd ARTDO International Conference

The 52nd ARTDO International Conference was launched at the E&O Hotel with over 250 delegates from 20 countries.

Guest-of-honour was the Ministry of Human Resources YB Steven Sim. Present to welcome him as organising chairman Datuk Dr Thomas Chee and his committee members.The annual conference is being held from July 27 to July 29, 2025.

In his keynote address, Sim addressed the advent of A1 and its impact on the overall community and the workforce.“We have to move on to ensure our workers are equipped with the right skills to carry out their tasks,” added Sim.

The conference included various talks by specialists, networking sessions, sightseeing, fellowship dinner and cultural shows among others.The conference is supported by the Penang state government and its related agencies.

All who came on stage did not hold back. They generously touched on the strategies and approaches they used in their organizations to enable coaching culture for transformation and impact.

It is worth noting that ARTDO INTERNATIONAL, formerly known as Asian Regional Training and Development Organization was founded in 1974 as an international non-profit NGO umbrella body comprising national training organizations, training and education institutions, HRD practitioners and multi-national companies from over 30 countries.
