Partnership between Nile Valley University and General Authority for Radio and Television
In a move that reflects Nile Valley University’s commitment to strengthening media and educational cooperation, Dr. El-Amin El-Tayeb Al-Tahir, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Nile Valley University, accompanied by Mr. Mohamed Youssef Mohamed, Director of Media and Public Relations, met with Ibrahim Al-Buzs’i, Director of the General Authority for Radio and Television.
This is part of the university’s efforts to expand national partnerships and activate the role of the media in supporting the educational process. The meeting discussed affirming national responsibility.
For his part, Dr.El-Amin stressed that the university is aware of the magnitude of the responsibility placed upon it, especially in light of the circumstances facing the country.
He reviewed the initiatives led by the university, represented by the Peace and Social Peace Initiative, which included a number of educational, economic, and political community activities.
The Secretary praised the major national roles played by radio and television in the Battle of Dignity, which played a prominent role in achieving victories, upholding patriotic values, and spreading enthusiasm.
Both parties emphasized the importance of the media in conveying the true image of the efforts made to host universities affected by the war and providing a stable educational environment.
The meeting also discussed exploring cooperation between the university and Sudanese Radio in the areas of media coverage of academic activities and student awareness programs.
It is worth noting that Nile Valley University has hosted more than 20,000 students from universities affected by the war, providing significant facilities, including halls, laboratories, and morgues.
This meeting is part of a series of initiatives led by Nile Valley University to enhance integration between educational and media institutions, serving the national interest and enhancing the stability of the educational process in Sudan.
The meeting was attended by Adel Yahya Eisa, Director of the River Nile State Radio and Television Corporation, and Mohamed Hamed El-Neel, Head of the News and Political Affairs Department at the National Radio.
