New Ministers Take Oath Before Head of Sovereignty Council

Several ministers and the Minister of State for Finance, who were recently appointed to the civilian Government of Hope, were sworn in today before the Head of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan. The oath was attended by Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris, and a representative of the Chief Justice and Secretary-General of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Dr. Mohamed Al-Gali Ali Youssef.

Minister of Youth and Sports, Ahmed Adam Mohamed, , said in a press statement that the ministers who took the oath were the Ministers of Energy, Cabinet Affairs, Youth and Sports, Digital Transformation, and Communications, along with the Minister of State for Finance.

He explained that the trust the leadership has placed in the ministers will be appreciated and a responsibility, indicating that the next phase will witness the country’s recovery from the effects of the war. He emphasized that the ministers will work in harmony and cohesion in the Government of Hope to achieve peace and stability in the country.
