Minister of Justice meets the Ambassador the Kingdom of Morocco

His Excellency the Minister of Justice, Dr. Abdallah Derf, met in his office with His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Maa El-Enein, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, and reiterated his congratulations to the noble Moroccan people on the glorious Throne Day, and the meeting dealt with the bilateral cooperation between the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Sudan and the Ministry of Justice of the Kingdom of Morocco, including the judicial cooperation plan for the years 2025 and 2026 within the framework of continuing to activate the cooperation agreement concluded between the two ministries in the two brotherly countries, signed in 2007.
The meeting also touched on the situation of Sudanese who are unofficially present in the Kingdom of Morocco and addressing their conditions, as well as Sudanese prisoners in the Kingdom of Morocco, and discussed the possibility of their return. The discussion also touched on the implementation of the outcomes of previous meetings in this regard.
The Minister appreciated the joint and constructive cooperation and security of his ministry’s readiness to cooperate in the file of Sudanese unofficially present in the Kingdom, as well as to resolve the issue of prisoners by communicating with the competent authorities in the Kingdom and implementing the decisions of previous meetings in this regard as soon as possible, and to address this file definitively.
