Minister of Industry and Trade Meets Russian Ambassador

Ms. Mahasin Ali Yaqoub, Minister of Industry and Trade, met with Mr. Andrey Chernovol, Ambassador of the Russian Federation, and a delegation from the Russian Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

The Minister affirmed Sudan’s interest in developing economic and trade cooperation in various fields, maximizing the benefits of available opportunities in both countries, overcoming the obstacles facing industrial and commercial investment, working to find ways and means to increase the volume of trade exchange between the two countries, and taking concrete steps to establish further economic cooperation.

Mr. Andrey highlighted the strong relations between Sudan and Russia, emphasizing his country’s desire to strengthen and advance cooperation with Sudan in all fields.
