Gazira Health Insurance restores its services at Tempol, Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitals in Hasahisa

The Director of the Health Insurance ,Gezira Branch, Dr. Al-Amin Hussein Omar, announced the provision of health insurance services through 172 health institutions and facilities, at a rate of 51% of the target during the current year, he said during the signing of the service restoration contract at Tambol Hospital in the East Gezira locality, with the participation of the Director of the General Directorate of Population Coverage headed by the National Health Insurance Fund, Dr. Abdel Azim Abdel Rahman Ahmed, the representative of the Medical Services Department, Dr. Khair El-Sayed Abdel Baqi, and the Director of the Executive Unit for Health Insurance in the locality, Dr. Asaad.

For his part, the Director of the General Directorate of Population Coverage, the Presidential Delegate to provide technical support to the island, confirmed the Presidency’s interest in restoring integrated medical services and achieving quality in their provision.

Director of Tempol Hospital,Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Hassan mentioned the importance of providing insurance services to the citizen in light of the high cost of medical services, pointing to the high frequency of services, and said that the hospital provides specialized services in internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, obstetrics, general surgery, and dentistry, pointing out that the average monthly frequency of the hospital is 5,500 patients.

A contract for providing medical services was signed today at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital in Al-Hasahisa locality with the participation of Dr. Mohammed Bashir and in the presence of Eng. Abu Bakr Fadlallah Al-Sayed, Director of the Executive Unit of Health Insurance in the locality, and representatives of medical services headed by the Fund.
