A joint meeting between the Federal Minister of Health and the Defense Industries System (DIS)

The Undersecretary of the Federal Ministry of Health in Khartoum met with the Defense Industries System (DIS) and congratulated them on the occasion of the seventy-first anniversary of the Armed Forces, praising the system’s initiative and participation in supporting health programs and rehabilitating hospitals in the previous period. He also appreciated their initiative in contributing to the national campaign for environmental sanitation and vector control, as well as their readiness to offer their services to support the campaign for aerial spraying whenever it is appropriate according to the established control plan and the suitable timing for that.

Colonel Abdul Azim Al-Tayeb Al-Awad expressed his thanks to the Federal Ministry of Health for its efforts during the past period, especially in light of the conditions of war and the continued provision of health services. He introduced the defense system and its subsidiaries, explaining that the meeting comes within the framework of an initiative to participate in environmental sanitation campaigns in Khartoum State, with a presentation of the system’s contribution to spraying operations through aircraft and making this available in coordination with the technical authorities of the campaign.
