Trial Operation of the Central Blood Bank at Omdurman Hospital Begins

The trial operation of the Central Blood Bank at Omdurman Hospital began today, after it was restored and rehabilitated following the destruction caused by rebel militias.
Dr. Samuel Haj Osman, Director General of Laboratories and Blood Banks at Khartoum State Health, said that the bank’s operation will contribute to providing blood to hospitals in a safe and organized manner, supporting efforts to save lives and improve health services. It is a strategic step aimed at ensuring a safe and regular supply of blood units and blood components to hospitals and emergency centers.
