SFPS (River Nile Branch), the first in health cadres training

Minister of Health in River Nile State, Dr. Magda Abdullah, said that the steadfastness projected of UNICEF and the World Bank under the supervision of Sudan Family Planning Association (SFPA) in River Nile State represents a major health boom to support primary health projects in the training of cadres on health in nutrition and community treatment of acute malnutrition for children.
During the conclusion of the graduation activities for health cadres, the students demanded the necessity of bringing about change in society, adding that the graduates are ambassadors in villages and rural areas.
The Minister praised the efforts of SFPA in River Nile State in training.
She said that SFPA in River Nile State is an integral partner of primary health care in the state.
For his part, the Director of the Health Sector at UNICEF, Dr. Babiker Tijani, said that the organization, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health in River Nile State, has been working for a year in partnership to create quality in health centers, stressing interest in periodic follow-up and improving health services.
He praised the work of the Association in the River Nile State during the war and the reproductive health services and support of health centers with primary health care services.
The Executive Director of the SFPA in the Nile River, Ms. Kawthar Mohamed Ibrahim, said that the association is working to achieve high quality training, noting that the training contributes to the preparation of a qualified cadres in the local communities in the state.
For his part, Mohayad Abdel Rahman, representative of the Federal Ministry of Health, announced a major training partnership with the Sumud project in Sudan and River Nile State, stressing that training contributes to refining the skills of health cadres qualified in acute nutrition for malnutrition children.
