Prime Minister Arrives in Khartoum

Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris arrived in Khartoum State and was received by the Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, members of his government, the State Security Committee, and Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Babiker Samra.
Upon his arrival at the entrance to Khartoum North crowds of Khartoum State thronged to welcome his arrival, anticipating a new phase based on creating an environment for reconstruction, recovery, and the establishment of security.
This will pave the way for the start of reconstruction, in accordance with the directives and work of the Supreme Committee. The Prime Minister will review the general situation and the extent of the damage to the state’s public infrastructure, in preparation for the immediate commencement of the reconstruction process.
