Passports Department Announces Opening of New Immigration Services Centers

The General Directorate of Passports and Immigration announced the completion of work to open the Abu Adam Center to provide immigration services to citizens, in implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Interior and the Police Forces Command to increase the number of service centers for the public.

Police Major General Osman Mohamed Al-Hassan Dinkawi, Director of the General Directorate of Passports and Immigration, said that his department has completed all technical preparations and arrangements for the opening of the Abu Adam Center, in implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Interior and the Police Forces Command.
He noted the continuation of work at the Halfaya and Karari centers, which are witnessing high public demand, and announced the imminent launch of work at the Bahri and East Nile centers.

Major General Dinkawi stated that the service centers include passport and civil registry services.

He added that his department is committed to improving the services it provides to the public by simplifying procedures and unifying windows in accordance with the law and standard operating procedures, which save time and effort.

The Director General of the General Department of Passports and Immigration confirmed that the Foreigners Department will continue to provide its services in accordance with the applicable regulations to enable foreigners to regularize their immigration status, and that the foreigners’ entry visa (counter visa) is available and no changes have been made to the regulations related to it.
