Minister of Interior Launches Work from Within Ministry in Khartoum

Lieutenant General of Police Babiker Samra Mustafa, Minister of Interior, today launched work from within the Ministry’s buildings at the Ministry of Interior in Khartoum.
The launch was attended by Lieutenant General (Police), Mohamed Ibrahim Awadallah, Deputy Director General of Police Forces and Inspector General; Lieutenant General of Police, Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed Shamin, Head of the Administrative Affairs Authority; and Major General (Police) , Al-Tahir Ali Mohamed Al-Baloula, Head of the Guidance and Services Authority.

The Minister of Interior confirmed in a press statement that the ministry’s administrative work from within the ministry’s headquarters in Khartoum and the Police Forces Command is intended to monitor all security and police deployment plans in the states and localities, especially Khartoum State, the country’s national capital.
This is achieved through the various police stations, checkpoints, and patrols, as well as monitoring immigration police services, including passports, civil registry, and traffic.

He added that all work requirements related to preparing the work environment are proceeding according to the established plan.
He praised the significant efforts made to resume work at the Ministry of Interior and the Police Forces Command, considering that the tasks and duties of providing internal security and all police and criminal services require presence and monitoring until citizens return to their areas.

During his tour of the ministry, the Minister of Interior monitored the progress of work and maintenance and rehabilitation activities taking place in all police units, which are supervised by the General Administration of Engineering Projects at the Police Forces.
